How we can help
If you are a woman and you are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse, please contact us. We will be able to carry out a risk assessment with you to assess the level of risk you are currently in and provide you with a safety plan. We will also be able to discuss your options around refuge, housing, benefits, legal issues, immigration, social care, child contact and reporting to the police.
Ethnic minority project
“Do you feel safe at home?”
“Is someone threatening to deport you?”
“Are you under pressure to marry someone?”
We can help you stay safe, gain information about your rights, access housing and get emotional support. We have a specialist worker who can offer you non-judgmental advice. We also have a translation service if English is not your first language.
Recovery programmes
We provide group recovery programmes for women who have experienced domestic abuse. These aim to improve your confidence and your self-esteem, as well as helping you to understand the effect that experiencing abuse has had on your life.
